ZRG Aspen Leadership Group has been engaged to recruit an Associate Vice President for Integrated Engagement for the University of Louisville as they expand their team to meet the priorities of the future.
Reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement, the Associate Vice President for Integrated Engagement will create, manage, and sustain a contemporary engagement function committed to deepening connections with donors, prospective donors, alumni, and other constituents through thoughtful philanthropic engagement practices, engaging communications, and meaningful stewardship and donor experiences. The AVP will do this in close consultation, collaboration, and alignment with campus philanthropic partners and units.
This senior-level leader and partner will be the chief strategist for alumni and constituent engagement, donor satisfaction, and the delivery of suspect, prospect, and donor experiences that feed fundraising results. Critically, the individual in this position will have the responsibility of aligning all elements of the alumni, donor, and prospect experience with and within the fundraising cycle to maximize donor satisfaction.
This position's critical purpose is to combine, align, and maximize philanthropic communications, high-impact university events, donor stewardship, and alumni and constituent engagement, reflective of best practices nationally and tailored to the unique aspirations of the University of Louisville. The Associate Vice President will plan, implement, and evaluate personnel and programs associated with this activity. The AVP for Integrated Engagement will manage the Board of Advisors and the President's Council, two key volunteer groups connected to the President's office, and the Alumni Board of Directors. Additionally, their office will serve as the volunteer management hub for PAE and the Office of the President.

A bachelor's degree and at least ten years of experience is required for this position. Five years of demonstrated philanthropy, stewardship, engagement, or early pipeline leadership experience, and progressively responsible engagement, fundraising, and/or constituent relations experience, in a higher education environment is preferred.

The full salary range for this position is $195,000 to $240,000 annually and will be based on experience and qualifications. The University of Louisville offers a comprehensive package of benefits.
