Company Overview
Founded in 2000, Fistula Foundation is the largest organization dedicated completely to ending the suffering caused by obstetric fistula, a childbirth injury that devastates the lives of one million women in developing countries. We provide grants to hospitals and doctors in more than 20 countries across Africa and Asia who are treating obstetric fistula, an injury that without treatment leaves women incontinent and too often socially ostracized. With surgery, the vast majority of women with the injury can be cured and returned to a state of health that allows them to lead a full, productive life.
